Quotebook: Simplicity

Peter Drucker had a way of saying things.  From the August 1st reading in The Daily Drucker we pick up a thread in the simple vs. complex discussion:

"The less diverse a business, the more manageable it is.  Simplicity makes for clarity."

Hmmm.  What does that say about a wide variety of options or the menu approach in terms of available programs?
