Lessons Columbus Learned

Have you ever thought your job was tough?  Maybe you’ve wished for a job that was less about risking and more about safety.  Today being Columbus Day and all, it’s appropriate to stop for a moment and think about true risk.  Talk about boldly going where no one has gone before!

Seth has a great post today on the lessons that Columbus learned.  He actually concludes with a very interesting take on the difference between a successful marketer (which he says Columbus was) and a great marketer (which he says Columbus wasn’t).  It really is an interesting idea.  Check it out.  And let me know what you think.  I think he’s onto something.  And I think it’s an idea that has real application for all of us.  I know I’d hate to be successful…but not end up with something to be proud of.  How about you?
