The Principle of The Path

Chevys and Rio Bravo Fresh Mex CookbookGot my copy of Andy Stanley’s newest recently.  The Principle of the Path:  How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be.  Very, very good.  If you’ve enjoyed Andy’s other books, you’ll love this one.  If you’ve been along for much of the journey here at StrategyCentral…you are going to finish it in 2 or 3 sittings.  It’s that good.

The core idea in the book is that the path you are on determines where you end up.  We all understand that idea when it comes to driving or walking.  None of us expect to end up in Canada when we’re on I-40 heading west.  And yet…in the rest of life (finances, relationships, diet, etc.) we make this mistake all the time.  The usual from Andy Stanley is crystal clear thinking that breaks down what seems bone-head obvious into steps that beg to be taken.

You’re going to want this little gem in your arsenal.  You can pick up your copy right here.

On a related note, Stanley’s current message series “Your Move” is covering many of the same principles.  I’ve written about the short-hand for the core principle right here.
