Ever been the only one to clearly see the future and been absolutely incapable of convincing the people around you that the Iceberg Is Melting.  Believe me, you are not alone, and we are not the first!  Apparently this has been going on for a long time! 😉

No doubt you’ve developed your argument based on a combination of gut-sense and awareness of what’s happening around you…maybe even with a twist of an idea from a great book or two.

My opinion…no one says it like Peter Drucker.  Check out this paragraph from The Daily Drucker:

"Effective executives know that they have to get many things done effectively.  Therefore they concentrate.  And the first rule for the concentration of executive efforts is to slough off the past that has ceased to be productive…If leaders are unable to slough off yesterday, to abandon yesterday, they simply will not be able to create tomorrow (January 5)."

Question: What needs to be abandoned in your organization?  What will be your next step in order to create tomorrow?
