Ever hear a word used in a sentence and realize that the person using the word doesn’t actually understand the concept?  I have a brilliant friend who regularly uses the word antidote instead of anecdote (as in I have a funny antidote to tell you).  I’ve tried correcting him.  He’s stuck there.  Almost nuke-u-ler, if you get my drift.  But that’s not exactly the thing going on when someone uses a word without realizing what it means.  For that, Seth Godin has a great post today, 5 Common Cliches (Done Wrong).  Check it out.
