Sunday afternoons (and into the early evening) are some of the best times going. Out on the patio with Maxwell Dog. Jimmy Buffett’s A1A playing softly in the background just barely above the water gurgling in the barrel fountain. 71°F at the end of a beautiful, perfect day in So Cal. Good times.
Sometimes the best part about Sunday afternoons is tripping across interesting new technologies. May not be new to you, but Jott has some real potential. Heard about it over on Duct Tape Marketing. Ever been in a speeding car and had an idea that needed to be captured RIGHT then? Maybe an idea for a blog post, or a memo that needed to be written, or for that matter a reminder to get something done first thing in the a.m.? Jott allows you to speed dial a phone number, talk after the beep, and bingo…sends a transcript to your email. Very cool. This is too good. Must be a catch, but I haven’t found it yet. I’ll let you know how it turns out. In the meantime, Jimmy’s singing A Pirate Looks at Forty, one of my all-time favorite songs. See you later.
