One of the communicators that has consistently grabbed my attention is Bill Hybels, Senior Pastor at Willow Creek.  In a talk he gave at the Reveal conference he shared that the tendency most of the time is to do what we can to simply "keep the peace."  Don't rock the boat.  The truth is though, that Jesus was not a peace-keeper.  He was more of an "apple cart-overturner."  Love that contrast!

To be clear, Jesus wasn't in it for the sake of turning over apple carts.  Not in the business of settling, he was on an optimizing mission.

Which are you?  What is the tendency of your organization?  If there were a "peace-keeper vs. apple cart-overturner" continuum…where would you land?
